Vibration and Deception

We can fool ourselves, but we can’t fool our vibration. We can lie to ourselves, but as long as we do, our vibration becomes that lie.

Others can lie to us, but they can’t fool our vibration either. At some point in time we’ll all be well enough aware of energy and how to read it that we’ll always know when and if we are being lied to.

Everyone can do that now, but most aren’t aware of this ability. Those who are aware of the ability and who know what deception is, don’t care whether they are deceived or not, because they know that deception only hurts the deceiver.

Deception has no bearing on those attempting to be deceived, unless they allow it to.

How do we develop the ability to perceive deception?

Listen to your heart. If what you are hearing, seeing, or most importantly—feeling—doesn't resonate with you, it may or may not be a deception. But whatever it is, do not continue focusing on or giving attention to that which does not "feel right" to you.

Dismiss any temptation to judge what doesn't resonate with you, simply allow it to be. It could be that the timing isn't right for you, it could be that what does not resonate with you does so because it doesn't fit with what you are up to as a Soul, or it could be that there is an active desire to deceive you.

No matter what the reason is that something doesn't resonate with you, it doesn't matter. Your only obligation—if your personal growth is important to you—is to actively seek out that which does resonate with you, and let be whatever does not.

Over time you will become better at knowing when you are actively being deceived, and will generate more tolerance of the attempt. From a stance of total non-judgement, it matters not that a deception has been, or is being, attempted. If you are inspired to speak, write, or act in some way on the deception, then follow that inner guidance—in total non-judgement of the deception, and with honor for the deceiver. Your inner guidance is, afterall, your greatest and most powerful tool.

An Amazing Quote from An Unusual Place

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice, heart and intuition. They [your inner voice, heart and intuition] somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

~ Steve Jobs

Note: I share the following story not to convince anyone to switch to Macs. That is not my intent in any way. I share it to show that when you get really determined about something that you feel passionate about, and let the Universe direct you in the steps to follow to get to your dream, you can make it happen. Even if you aren't a Steve Jobs.

________________________________________________

I have to admit to being a long-time Mac enthusiast. Since my first introduction to Macintosh, in 1987, I thought the machine was so amazing—variable fonts, a fantastic and fun WYSIWYG graphical interface, floppy drives instead of the bigger diskette drives, etc. For me, Mac was as much a toy as a tool. It took me a number of years to afford a Mac. It cost way too much but I found a way to get one. I have never regretted how much I spent, I loved learning what it could do.

Some years later, when I developed a reputation as a leader in the Technical Publications department where I worked, I took on the rather monumental task of converting the department from the company's strict textual computers to a network of Macs. I succeeded, but it wasn't an easy task, given what the business community thought of Macs at the time.

With the Macs implemented, we increased not only productivity (having switched from manual paste-up and hand-cut rubyliths to fully typeset, electronically delivered print-ready film), but the staff had the tools to be more innovative with our documentation designs, and significantly increased the 'fun factor' of working.

So over many years I developed enormous respect for Steve Jobs as not only an innovator, but as a man who could—who would—no matter what critism or cynism was being expressed in the world about his ideas, not give up. No matter what, Jobs has stuck with his vision. Sometimes that vision didn't work out due to concept or design flaw. More often it failed because the world at large wasn't ready to accept his ideas.

But through all those failures, or near failures, or perceived failures, the man has persisted. At one point he was fired from Apple, and during those years the company floundered. Innovation became nearly non-existent. At some point, through someone's infinite wisdom, or perhaps out of sheer desperation, the company brought Jobs back—to the company that he created. Since his return, products designed from new and innovative ideas have been literally flying out the door. For the most part, those products have been hugely successful.

So I always wondered, based on so much un-acceptance from the world in general, and business leaders in particular, covering a span of several decades, how could this man be so successful? What kept him going in the face of huge amounts of opposition to the products born of his love for, and knowledge of, technology?

When I found the quote above, it all became clear to me. He is a true example of the philosophy of following your heart, your own intuition, your own inspiration, no matter what the opposition, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many supposed failures you experience along the way. He was born with unusually strong convictions and an unusually strong determination to follow the tune of his own drummer. He never gave up on himself even when it seemed the whole world thought he was a fool and his ideas ludicrous.

If nothing else, Jobs shows us that each step we take, if we hold to our convictions, to our inner knowing that what we're doing is the right thing—for us—if we don't give up or give in to those who can't see our vision the way we can, eventually the world will catch up. Eventually we will manifest what are our truest and deepest convictions. It's not just having innovative ideas, it's backing those ideas up with absolute passion, determination and action.

We don't have to be born with the degree of awareness of our determination that Steve Jobs was. That determination exists in each of us. We were born with it, and we have access to it. Most of us are simply unaware that such determination is alive inside of us. All there is to do is become aware of what we are passionate about, and the determination to complete it will surface on it's own.

With that awareness opened up, all that's left to do is let no amount of nay-saying by others, and from our own egoic self, stop us. "I don't care what you think, I'm going to do this [thing that I am passionate about]" is a good mantra to follow, even—in fact, especially—when we're having internal dialogs with the 'doubting-Thomas' side of ourself.

A Wonderful Little Parable About Death

Enjoy these excerpts from "Water Bugs and Dragonflies: Explaining Death To Young Children" by Doris Stickney
Down below the surface of a quiet pond lived a little colony of water bugs. They were a happy colony, living far away from the sun. For many months they were very busy, scurrying over the soft mud on the bottom of the pond.

They did notice that every once in awhile one of their colony seemed to lose interest in going about. Clinging to the stem of a pond lily it gradually moved out of sight and was seen no more.

"Look!" said one of the water bugs to another. "One of our colony is climbing up the lily stalk. Where do you think she is going?"

Up, up, up it slowly went. Even as they watched, the water bug disappeared from sight. Its friends waited and waited but it didn't return.

"That's funny!" said one water bug to another.

"Wasn't she happy here?" asked a second.

"Where do you suppose she went?" wondered a third.

No one had an answer. They were greatly puzzled.

Finally one of the water bugs, a leader in the colony, gathered its friends together. "I have an idea. The next one of us who climbs up the lily stalk must promise to come back and tell us where he or she went and why."

"We promise", they said solemnly.

One spring day, not long after, the very water bug who had suggested the plan found himself climbing up the lily stalk.

Up, up, up, he went. Before he knew what was happening, he had broke through the surface of the water and fallen onto the broad, green lily pad above.

When he awoke, he looked about with surprise. He couldn't believe what he saw. A startling change had come to his old body. His movement revealed four silver wings and a long tail. Even as he struggled, he felt an impulse to move his wings.

The warmth of the sun soon dried the moisture from the new body. He moved his wings again and suddenly found himself up above the water. He had become a dragonfly!!

Swooping and dipping in great curves, he flew through the air. He felt exhilarated in the new atmosphere.

By and by the new dragonfly lighted happily on a lily pad to rest. Then it was that he chanced to look below to the bottom of the pond. Why, he was right above his old friends, the water bugs! There they were scurrying around, just as he had been doing some time before.

The dragonfly remembered the promise: "The next one of us who climbs up the lily stalk will come back and tell where he or she went and why."

Without thinking, the dragonfly darted down. Suddenly he hit the surface of the water and bounced away. Now that he was a dragonfly, he could no longer go into the water.

"I can't return!" he said in dismay. "At least, I tried. But I can't keep my promise. Even if I could go back, not one of the water bugs would know me in my new body. I guess I'll just have to wait until they become dragonflies too. Then they'll understand what has happened to me, and where I went."

And the dragonfly winged off happily into its wonderful new world of sun and air.
The following is from the same book. It's an excerpt from the author's discussion with a parent, offering support in how to handle a conversation with a child, about the death of their friend. The author offers a potential conversation they might have with a boy named Ned—friend of a boy named Bobby—after witnessing Bobby’s memorial service.
For instance, just imagine our Ned, hearing the story of our waterbugs, asking us that very same question.

“ ‘We don’t really know where Bobby has gone’ is our answer. But you remember in the story of the water bugs down in the pool they asked the very same question of one another.

“ ‘Tell me,’ we might ask Ned in turn, ‘Why couldn’t the dragonfly come back to the water bugs, as he had promised?’

“ ‘Why of course he couldn’t come back. He couldn’t!’ I’m sure Ned would say. ‘You know that. He had another kind of body. His wings were meant to fly in the air.’

“Then we would ask ‘What did the dragonfly say when he realized he couldn’t get back?'—wondering if Ned had caught the important words.

“ ‘I’ll have to wait until they become dragonflies too. Then they’ll understand what happened to me and where I went.’ Ned might repeat, remembering the end of the story.

“Don’t we as parents have a priceless opportunity to witness our faith?” I asked. The fact enters naturally into place, that the change in our bodies that we call death, will come to each of us, sometime. But we believe that then we will learn the secret that the dragonfly discovered: God has a plan for all creatures, more wonderful than we could even imagine.”

No one can predict the reaction of children to a story. The world of imagination is more real to them than the visible one. They surprise us with their clear grasp of that which we would make complex. And with unerring honesty, they see through our flimsy pretenses. “I don’t know” is an honest admission. But “I believe” gives our children confidence in a future to be anticipated and in a Creator whose plan can be trusted.

Why Do Bad Things Happen?

The recent events in Haiti have all of us emotionally reeling, sometimes wondering why, if we are truly raising and expanding consciousness, are terrible things happening, seemingly all around us?

As I attempted to tackle this very important question, along comes Jennifer Hoffman's Uriel newsletter, with an important message on this very subject. That message is reproduced below.

Those who gave their lives in this event deserve our appreciation and our honor. Those who survived but are suffering with loss of family, loss of homes, loss of income, loss of friends and associates, often their own personal injury, also deserve our honor, our love, our energy, and our support in multiple ways. As Jennifer and Uriel point out, it is our compassion and offerings of support that create almost an explosion of expanded consciousness.

What we don't want to offer is pity or fear. If those are among your emotional responses, take a moment to just let those feelings be what they are, without judging them. Remind yourself that All is Well, that everything is progressing appropriately. Then take action in whatever way you are inspired to act. In that way we all move forward, acting inside the unity which is our true nature.

Why Do Bad Things Happen?

As we sit glued to the TV watching the scenes of destruction and despair in Haiti, we have to question why things like this happen. If we are on the ascension path and creating heaven on earth, why are so many people still suffering and why do these kinds of tragedies happen? They have a purpose, which is part of the ascension path for the earth and humanity. These situations are neither good nor bad, they are part of a process of compassionate awakening that humanity needs to learn and for the time being, we learn it by being pulled out of our complacency to respond to the suffering of others.

The tsunami of 2005 was another one of many events that created what Archangel Uriel calls compassion vortexes, surges in energy that open the collective heart chakra and in that moment, allow the world to send love and healing to the affected people and area. This accomplishes two things - the healing energy is concentrated in an area that needs it and humanity thinks and acts as 'one'. People forget their problems and worries and instead, focus on the needs of others. They send money, which is an aspect of earth energy, to help buy food, supplies and to rebuild shattered lives and homes.

There was a time when we would not have known about tragedies or situations in other countries and few people outside that location would have been affected. But in today's global environment a disaster affects people from every nation and the internet allows us to be everywhere, all of the time. We see first hand the injured, dead and dying, the mass destruction and with those visuals our hearts are opened and we remember that we are part of the human family, that this could also be happening to us.

Archangel Uriel shared some insights about this situation on the January 13 radio show (click here to listen) and suggested that we send light to Haiti, to keep this vortex open and allow the energy there to be transformed. It is one of the areas that, as was mentioned in the predictions, carries much dark energy and its willingness, along with that of the people there, to be open to receiving light is our call to send the light it needs. Maybe some day we will no longer need to be awakened through the suffering of others, or our own, but for now, compassion vortexes are how these portals are created and what we do when they are presented to us will determine whether more are needed.

How to Dance in the Rain

As the weekend approaches, enjoy this inspiring and heart-warming story, author unknown. This story has made its way around the internet so maybe you've heard it before, but even so, I think you'll agree that the concept is timeless:
It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80s arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry.

The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I inquired as to her health.

He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.

He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arms, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

True love is neither physical, nor romantic.

True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
With love and thanks to Maja of the Smiling Soul for this and many other wonderful examples of living life to the full.

Don't Forsake Who You Are To Fit In

I had an opportunity to participate in an enlightening webinar with Jim Self of Mastering Alchemy and Michelle Eloff of The Lightweaver that included a channel from Kuthumi/Agrippa. The audio of this broadcast, entitled "Drawing the Line, Consciously" is available free on both websites.

The entire broadcast was enjoyable and powerful, but the following comment in particular (from Kuthumi) made me sit up and take note. He was talking about having asked a question previously of Michelle (the channel), and was now asking it of us.

It's a deep and profoundly thought-provoking question, one that applies to anyone and everyone who's taken on fully becoming the human incarnation of their True Self. Once you take that path, or start down that road, no matter how well you may have "fit" with the world before, you might find that you do not "fit" in that way any more. Even people that you counted on for acceptance and love may not see you in the same light anymore. That can be upsetting and frustrating.

Here's what Kuthumi had to say:
You ask "Why is it so difficult to be who I am?" .. and I ask of you .. Why are you trying so hard to fit into a world that doesn't fit you?

You were born to be differ-ent, in order to make a differ-ence. Never try to be the square peg squashing yourself into a round hole. You're the one who will become damaged, injured, and frustrated.

So I repeat: Why are you trying so hard to fit into a world that does not hold your energy, when in fact you were created differently in order to make a difference?

You are the ones who stand on the outskirts, and you are the ones who stand in the center. Do not be afraid of that which you desire most. Don't buy in. Take a risk, break down the barriers. Take a chance on yourself. Take a chance on a new life, and see what it brings you.
In other words, honor who you are, and what you have to give, even if no other single human being on the entire planet understands or accepts you.

No one needs to understand you. No one needs to accept you. Spirit (Who You Really Are) has more than enough understanding, more than enough acceptance, more than enough love to sustain you. In fact, you will find that as you begin to revel in the fact that you are Good enough (and as Steve Rother's 'the group' likes to add: "You are God enough") just the way you are, you will find a new ability to understand, accept, and love, others exactly as they are. It's one of those annoying paradoxes, but a really empowering one.

Celebrating What's Right

John Cali, in his Chief Joseph newsletter this week, introduced me to Dewitt Jones and his "Celebrate What's Right With The World" video. It turns out that Jones has an entire training program devoted to the concept of celebrating what's right (joy-filled) rather than focusing on what's wrong (upset-filled). I am not necessarily promoting either Dewitt Jones or his program, but I love his message and his ability to deliver it powerfully.

Below is a Youtube video of a small portion of a longer video available for viewing on Dewitt's Celebrate site. May you be inspired to celebrate what's right in your world!

With thanks to dvdpro for posting this short Youtube clip of the longer Celebrate What's Right With The World video by Dewitt Jones.

Confronting Fear

As we move forward into 2010, the earth herself, each of us individually, and all of us as a global community, are experiencing shifts in our being. These shifts are very necessary precursors to the birthing of the loving, peaceful, unified world that we are creating. We are going to be confronting whatever fears we have not yet cleared away. These might be fears we previously thought we had conquered, but in reality didn't quite complete. While some of what we're experiencing, both individually and as a community might be unpleasant, it's all a very natural part of the evolutionary process that we are currently undergoing, a natural part of emotional healing.

There's an analogy here to how the physical body heals. Think of a time when you or someone you know had an infected wound. You knew that the wound had to be opened so that the infection could rise to the surface to be cleansed. Even though you knew it might be painful, you allowed the wound to be opened so that it could heal. You may even have applied salve to help the process. Healing emotional wounds is no different—whatever is hiding beneath the surface causing irritation will be brought to the surface so that you can become aware of it, recognize it, accept it, appreciate it, and thereby release it. The salve is love and acceptance.

Sometimes during this process of confronting our fears, it feels like a part of us is dying. And quite literally, a part of us is. But after that small death, a new part of us is born. If you think back to your childhood, you might say that the child that you were then had to die so that the adult or older child that you are now could be born. You haven't lost the child, you have expanded beyond it. You have all of the memories and experiences of the child, but you are now so much more. What we're experiencing now is not so different.

Alexandra Mahlimay of Joy and Clarity wrote the following on November 11, 2007. She talks candidly about her experience of losing and regaining a part of herself. It allows us to see, through her very human eyes, what the process is like. I think you'll realize that something similar has happened to you at different times in your life, and that it's a very natural process. Painful, but natural. And necessary. We're all experiencing an increase in such experiences, and will continue to do so until all of our hurtful and fearful aspects have been accepted and integrated. May Alexandra's sharing of her experience help you gain confidence in your own process and your own path.

No matter what is going on in your life right now, pleasant or unpleasant, take care of yourself. Be kind to the parts of you that have carried the burdens of fear, abandonment, lack, or whatever things are arising in your life right now so that you can recognize and release them.

You are strong, powerful, and all-knowing. Allow that knowing to carry you through whatever darkness might be appearing in your life right now. Know that you have invited these experiences because darkness can no longer be hidden. It must see the light of day in order to be healed. Remember that a day appears darkest just before dawn!

Thank yourself for the long road that you have travelled to be where—and who—you are right now, in this moment. Remember to breathe. Remember that you are loved, and you are never alone.

A Tobias Channel: "Integrating Wounded Aspects and Feminine Energies"

By Alexandra Mahlimay
Cluj-Napoca, Romania
www.joyandclarity.com

Today it is an 11:11 day. Why? Because this is what the clock shows.

I woke up this morning with a feeling of Christmas in my heart. I felt deep, deep joy and ease. I was happy to start my day in joy. I felt light and I just enjoyed myself.

I didn't feel like doing too much, but I felt like taking some time for myself, and clear out the house. Yes, this was what I chose for the day. Clarity. To clear the house.

Little did I know, that the day was about to change in that moment.

So, I started doing my stuff, cleaning around the house, rearranging things, throwing away some old stuff. And in the same time, I decided to clear out all the energies that do not serve me in the place where I find myself. "I choose to clear out everything from my past and present that do not serve me for what I am experiencing now."

After finishing the cleaning action, I decided to go for a walk. The sun was appearing at the horizon. It was very cold, but a very clear cold.

I felt good about going for a walk with my dog. Star was so happy. He wiggled his tail, and his friend Cora was ready too. They jumped on me, reminding me just how much they love to have promenades with me. I laugh... well, not really promenades. They are more like racing times. They run so fast, and try to catch each other, and they bark and are so happy. And I keep calling them, to tell them where to go. Like they wouldn't know, ha. Well, enough about my dog friends. There something more important to share here.

This is where my journey begins. I chose to clear out my past and present experiences that do not serve me anymore. During the walk I started to remember some of the very difficult times I had with someone I called a friend. And I remembered how hurt I felt when I realized (or not yet) what was actually going on in that relationship.

I remembered how I was treated bad, how I was cheated and deceived, and in the end really humiliated. I also remembered the feelings of panic and deep fear that were always associated when I was around that person. As I was recalling all those feelings (since I didn't remember any more the situations), I realized how easy I would just take someone else's feelings – like panic and fear – as my own feelings. I did realize in that moment how, for many years my life was governed by other's peoples feelings. It wasn't a big 'aha' moment, since I knew this was going on, but I felt it and accepted it, finally.

Does this sound familiar? You bet.

As I was walking my walk (ha ha ha), the movements of the walk, the presence of the dogs and the beauty of the nature I was seeing around me distracted me from my thoughts. I was breathing with every step I was taking... a slow and gentle breath, I was having a nice pace, and was enjoying myself.

By the time I got back home, I felt fine and I was happy to have been out in the cold for that nice walk.

In the house, I kept myself "busy" with doing things for myself, taking care of my body: a nice bath, checking emails, or preparing some food. But as the time would go by, little by little I felt uncomfortable. The energy inside began to feel somehow very contracted. I started to think (yes, to think) about everything I couldn't do, or didn't work. I suddenly started to "see" how I wasn't manifesting what I chose to create, I felt bad about myself, I felt contracted, also some pity about myself, and I started to doubt everything that I am doing in the now. Because I remembered all the things that didn't happen, or didn't work in my mind. I also doubted my creator powers. "What if I am not such a good creator, like I keep saying?"

Well, in the next hours I got my answer. It didn't take so long like it usually happened before. It took only about four hours. It was enough for me.

All the torment and the pain, all the suffering and the doubt of so many years in my life were coming to the surface. My breath was contracting, too... I almost had no air by the end of the day. "So, what is going on? Why do I feel so contracted? Did I do something to create this?" I had a feeling of being in a spider web, completely paralyzed, and watching myself die a slow death. It would hurt so bad, that I couldn't even feel myself.

And I died.

I died. Not as slow as I was feeling, since it only took me some hours to come back to my truth. But I died. The aspect of me, that felt for such a long time trapped, victimized, not recognized, not listened to, not important, not worthy, not good enough (god enough works too)... this aspect was dying. But not like we imagine death. This aspect was ready to integrate into the Whole Me, in All who I am.

My choice to let go of what doesn't serve me anymore was paid attention to. I wasn't the "victim" of my past, I didn't do anything to create again a situation that would make me feel trapped, I didn't do anything wrong. My Soul was just bringing into my attention that aspect of myself that was ready to go, that was ready to die. I was ready to look at this very sensitive topic that used to be so present into my life for the last time (and so it shall be).

Even if the human Me was being aware that it wasn't true what I was thinking, I felt it. I felt all those feelings from the past. And I felt the great pain and suffering, that were cutting my breath. And I was ready to see that it wasn't my present pain or suffering. It was an old, old wound.

Whether it is about trusting self, or trusting others, or about being lovable or loving others, or about being deceived or deceiving others (and you can add your own experiences/feelings here), all these feelings are feelings that come from the past. They come from the past of my/our aspects, that remember them. The aspects remember the feelings very clearly. They might even remember some situations where we felt ashamed, or blamed, or humiliated. They remember. But our Soul is ready to take these aspects back home, to hold them and to let them know that everything is alright. Everything is fine. Nothing is wrong, we are doing just fine.

It is like in a bad dream. We wake up and we remember the feelings so strongly. We weep and our body shakes. But it is a dream, that was based on experiences we had in the past. It is not the Now, it is not the Truth about who we are now. It is not our True Self.

And now, I would like - or Tobias would like to say some words about all of this.

Tobias:
"Indeed... And so it is, Dear Friends.

You are all ready to integrate those aspects of yours that are so ready to come back Home. To come back into You, the True You. You are ready, since now it is the time where you prepare yourself for the new Era of Conscious Creation.

You entered this Era and you feel how things are moving so fast, and sometimes incredibly slow. You want fast changes, but then you feel sometimes completely overwhelmed. Other times you want the changes, and they feel very far away.

This is such a time, where I would suggest that you all come to peace of mind and realization that your Soul is in charge and is leading you in the right direction.

The issues that have been a long pain in the ass for you, they are (literally) manifesting for you. You can no longer sit on them. They appear in a second. And if you ask yourselves why, then remember: It doesn't matter why, they are going to pass, you are going to integrate them, and you are bringing in the changes that you want so much. Stop asking yourselves so many questions, and try to go with the flow.

Many of you had these past days issues that involved feelings around being victim, hurt, not listened to, not paid attention to, not recognized.

Do not be worried. Because this is the time where yours, and the planetary feminine energies are stepping out. The feminine energies can no longer stay hidden and accept the "opression". And I say oppression, because my dears, the feminine, as you know has been put in the background and had to hide for so long now. And that hurt so, so much. You felt it these last days. You felt how all the things that came up and were bringing with them the suffering and the pain, they were so profound. It is a deep wound that is ready to be healed by the humanity. And the healing that is taking place, you are feeling it. You are feeling it deep inside your being, as something that has to be released.

The prey is ready to get out of the cobweb. You – and everybody else – are no longer ready to accept the humiliation, the oppression, the hidden place, and the "slow death" like you say, of the feminine. The feminine is ready to rise and shine. The feminine is about to emerge from the ashes of the past. Like a beautiful phoenix.

As the feminine energies integrate completely into your Being, and they are released from the old patterns of living, these wonderful energies start to meld beautifully with the masculine energies, that are ready to receive them. And please, do not see this as a linear process. It is not the masculine that receives the feminine like you are thinking. It is the feminine that falls in the arms of the masculine, that is ready to have this amazing dance again.

The alchemy of this encounter creates, in the same time something completely new. So, do not wonder if those of you, that are now in a relationship with a partner, you will discover a new way of communicating and of coming together. There is a new experience of the relationship that you are going to experience. A new bonding, a new way of experiencing the love and the sharing of who you are.

And this alchemy is not reserved only to those of you in a partnership. This will happen in each and every one of you. You will feel it. You will feel a new peace inside of you. The restlessness that was there for a long time now, the sometimes conflicting ideas inside yourself – a part of you that was ready to do something, and the other that still needed to ponder on the results of your actions – they are finding now new ways of expressing. There is a greater flow, and you will find yourself being able to put things into practice a lot faster, and with greater ease.

So, I encourage you all to feel yourself and to feel how this wonderful dance of the feminine and the masculine is taking place right now. Observe and feel the new way you are experiencing yourself, and the relationships with others. And give yourself time to integrate this experience.

You are doing a great job, like you say. You are riding on top of that wave, and nothing is going to stop the experience you are inviting in, from coming to you. Be at peace and in trust that all is well.

We are always with you, loving you and supporting you. You are never alone.”

The Birth of The Soul

Recently I found myself reviewing the work of Pamela Kribbe at Jeshua dot net. I think the following information, about the birth and growth of a soul, is particularly interesting and pertinent as we begin to delve more deeply into Who We Really Are, how we got here, and what we're doing here.

As stated on Pamela's website, Jeshua is the very human aspect of the consciousness commonly know as Jesus, or the family of Sananda. It's accurate to say that Jeshua, as the incarnation of Jesus, is of the family of Christ Consciousness, but all of us belong to that grouping. Sananda is a smaller grouping of soul consciousness with its own purpose and drive. You may be a closer part of that consciousness than others of us, but it matters not. No matter what family of consciousness you are a part of, whether you can identify that family or not, we are all here with common goals and a common mission - that of helping the earth to raise her vibration, and have a wonderful time doing it.

If you aren't used to thinking of yourself as a "Lightworker", the first sentence in the piece below may feel exclusory to you. You might think "ahh, so this is what those Lightworkers are all about!" Guess again. If you found your way to this page, you are such a one. What does that mean exactly, "Lightworker"? Does it mean you have to go out and preach "light work"? Not at all. It's a choice made at a soul level to be here, on this planet, at this time, to be a part of the vibrational changes that are taking place. On a soul level, the choice has already been made. Then there's the human level of choice ...

We are, each of us, here to learn how to connect with our true selves, to realize that we are creators all, and to begin to take responsibility for our creations. In doing that for ourselves, as individuals, we assist the planet and all upon it (including, but not limited to, other humans) to do the same. We each have our own unique experiences of this lifetime and what's happening, and our own unique gifts to provide as we meet each new day. Finding and appreciating our uniqueness, finding what drives our passion and living it, is what there is to do.

So we are moving, as individuals and as a global community, into other dimensions of reality. We always have been, it's just happening so quickly now, and in such mass quantities, that it becomes impossible not to be aware that at the very least "something is going on". Whether or not that feeling of "something going on" is enough to awaken one to their true nature remains to be seen. But I will reiterate: If you find yourself drawn to this material and other material like it, you are a lightworker consciousness. What you do with that information, whether you choose to believe it or not, or act on it or not, is completely your choice. At all levels of consciousness your choices are honored, you are honored.
The birth of the soul

Lightworker souls were born long before the earth and humanity came into being.

Souls are birthed in waves. There is a sense in which souls are eternal with no beginning and no end. But in another sense, they are born at some point. It is at this point that their consciousness reaches a sense of individual self. Before this point, they are already there as a possibility. However there is no consciousness yet of me and other.

The consciousness of “me” arises when somehow a demarcation line is drawn between groups of energies. We have to revert to metaphors in order to explain this.

Think of the ocean for a moment and imagine it to be a huge field of flowing energies, streams that constantly mingle and part. Imagine that a diffuse consciousness pervades the entire ocean. Call it the ocean spirit if you want. After a while, concentrations of consciousness arise at certain places in the ocean. Consciousness here is more focused, less diffuse than in its direct surroundings. All over the ocean there is an ongoing differentiation which leads to the development of transparent forms within the ocean. These forms, which are focused points of consciousness, move independently from their environment. They experience themselves as different from the ocean (spirit). What occurs here is the birth of a rudimentary sense of self or self-consciousness.

Why did focused points of consciousness arise in some parts of the ocean rather than in others? This is very hard to explain. Can you feel, however, that there is something very natural about this proceeding? When you throw seeds on a bed of earth, you notice that the little plants that sprout will each grow in their own time and rhythm. One will not grow as large or as easily as the others. Some will not grow at all. There is differentiation across the field. Why? The energy of the ocean (the ocean spirit) intuitively seeks the best expression possible for all its multiple streams or layers of consciousness.

During the formation of individual points of consciousness within the ocean, there is a power that works on the ocean from the outside, or so it seems. This is the power of divine inspiration, which can be conceived as the male aspect of That which created you. Whereas the ocean represents the female, receptive side, the male aspect may be visualized as light beams pouring into the ocean, which enhance the process of differentiation and the separation into individual lumps of consciousness. They are like the rays of the sun that warm the seedbed.

The ocean and the light beams together form an entity or being that may be referred to as an archangel. It is an archetypical energy with both a male and a female aspect and it is an angelic energy that manifests or expresses itself to you. We will come back to the notion of an archangel in more detail in the last chapter of [The Lightworker Series], called “Your Light Self.”

After the soul is born as an individual unit of consciousness, it slowly leaves the oceanic state of oneness that had been its home for a long time. The soul increasingly becomes aware of being separate and on its own.

With this awareness, a sense of loss or lack arises in the soul for the first time. When the soul embarks upon its road of exploration as an individual entity, the soul will carry with it a certain longing for wholeness, a desire to belong to something bigger than itself. Deep within itself, the soul will keep the memory of a state of consciousness in which everything is one, in which there is no “me” and “other.” This is what it considers “home” to be: a state of ecstatic oneness, a place of complete safety and fluidity.

With this memory in the back of its mind, the soul starts its travels throughout reality, throughout countless fields of experience and inner exploration. The newborn soul is driven by curiosity and has a great need for experience. This was the element that was absent in the oceanic state of oneness. The soul now is able to freely explore anything it wishes to explore. It is free to search for wholeness in all sorts of ways.

Within the universe, there are countless planes of reality to explore. The earth is simply one of them and one that came into being relatively late, speaking on a cosmic scale. Planes of reality or dimensions always originate from inner needs or desires. Like all creations, they are the manifestation of inner visions and ponderings. Earth was created from an inner desire to bring together elements from different realities that clashed with each other. Earth was intended to be a melting pot for a great array of influences. We will explain this further below. For now suffice it to say that the earth was a relative late-comer on the cosmic stage and that many souls lived many lives of exploration and development on other planes of reality (planets, dimensions, star systems, etc.), long before the earth was even born.

Lightworkers are souls who lived many, many lives on these other planes before they ever incarnated on earth. This is what distinguishes them from “earth souls” as we will call them for the sake of convenience. Earth souls are souls who incarnated in physical bodies on earth relatively early in their development as individualized units of consciousness. One might say that they started their cycle of earth lives when their souls were in their infant stage. At that time, the lightworker souls were “grown-ups.” They had been through many experiences already and the type of relationship they bore with earth souls may be likened to that of parent and child.

The development of life and consciousness on earth

On earth, the evolution of life forms was closely intertwined with the inner development of the earth souls. Although no soul is bound to a particular planet, the earth souls could well be said to be the natives of your planet. This is because their growth and expansion roughly coincides with the proliferation of life forms on earth.

When individual units of consciousness are born, they are somewhat similar to single physical cells as regards structure and possibility. Just like individual cells have a relatively simple structure, the inner movements of a newborn consciousness are transparent. Not much differentiation has set in yet. There is a world of possibilities at their feet, both physical and spiritual. The development from a newborn unit of consciousness to a type of consciousness that is self-reflective and able to observe and react to its environment may roughly be compared to the development of a single-celled organism to a complex living organism interacting with its environment in multiple ways.

We are here comparing the development of soul consciousness with the biological development of life and we do so not just by way of metaphor. In fact the biological development of life as it took place on earth should be seen against the background of a spiritual need for exploration and experience on the part of the earth souls. This need or desire for exploration called into being the rich variety of life forms on earth. As we said, creation is always the result of an inner movement of consciousness. Although the evolution theory, as presently embraced by your science, correctly describes the development of life forms on your planet to some extent, it completely misses the inner drive, the “hidden” motive behind this deeply creative process. The proliferation of life forms on earth was due to inner movements on the soul level. As always, spirit precedes and creates matter.

At first, earth souls incarnated in physical forms which best fitted their still rudimentary sense of self: single-celled organisms. After a period of gaining experience and integrating this within their consciousness, the need arose for more complex means of physical expression. That is how more complex life forms were propelled into being. Consciousness created physical forms to answer the inner needs and desires of the earth souls whose collective consciousness primarily inhabited the earth.

The formation of new species and the incarnation of earth souls into individual members of those species represent a great experiment of life and consciousness. Although evolution is consciousness-driven, not driven by accident or incident, it does not follow a predetermined line of development. This is because consciousness itself is free and unpredictable.

The earth souls experimented with all kinds of animal life forms. They inhabited several types of physical bodies in the animal kingdom but they did not all experience the same line of development. The soul’s path of development is much more fanciful and adventurous than you assume. There are no laws above or outside of you. You are the law for you. So for instance, if you desire to experience life from the standpoint of a monkey, you may at some point in time find yourself living in a monkey’s body, from birth onward or as a temporary visitor. The soul, especially the young soul, craves experience and expression. This urge to explore accounts for the diversity of life forms that flourished on earth.

Gandhi on Freedom

The outward freedom that we shall attain will only be in exact proportion to the inward freedom to which we may have grown at a given moment. And if this is a correct view of freedom, our chief energy must be concentrated on achieving reform from within.

Symptoms of Ascension

As a part of the expansion of consciousness and our movement toward higher vibrations, changes are taking place in our physical bodies as well as our emotions. Knowing that, it only makes sense that we'd be experiencing both physical and emotional symptoms. Being aware of these symptoms allows us to stay out of worry and maintain our joy during the process knowing that 'this too shall pass'.

The following is from Ascension Made Easy-er by Jim Self at Mastering Alchemy. If you haven't read Jim's short but informative e-book entitled "The Shift: What it is - Why it's happening and How it is affecting you" I highly recommend it. It's available free on Jim's website.
You are moving toward and preparing for ascension. This isn’t as mysterious as it sounds. Ascension doesn’t have to mean leaving this planet, taking your body with you and hanging out with Isis or Saint Germain. Ascension is an everyday occurrence. Ascension is when we leave one mode of being and rise into another higher, faster, purer one. It is when we make changes in our perspective, our preferences and our way of moving through life.

We can say, at these times, we are moving from the third dimension toward the fifth. In a very real way we are. The fifth dimension is a place where what you think very quickly manifests. You might already be noticing that what you barely ask for you receive…faster and faster. As we make these evolutionary changes from a slower, denser vibration to a faster, lighter one, everything we have become familiar with also evolves. If the human race hadn’t taken its steps into a new awareness, we’d all still be thumping our chests, grunting and looking like Neanderthals.

As we ascend toward the fifth dimension, we step up awareness in all aspects of who we are. Emotionally, we become less volatile and more joyous. Mentally, we experience balance between our brain’s hemispheres and an integration of our intuition and analytical skills. Spiritually, we awaken our creative genius. As we take these steps toward total integration and alignment, we may experience a number of symptoms. You may be aware of all or some of these. Since you are reading this book, you are probably aware of several.

Ascension Symptoms

1. Friends you’ve known for a long time are appearing different to you. The things they are interested in and are excited about, or the things they talk about, are not as interesting as they used to be. In fact, sometimes you find yourself looking at them and wondering, “Do I know this person? They seem so different.” The fact is – they are not different. You are. You are beginning to shift your focus from the things and concerns that were very dominant in your life to areas and interests quite apart from the old ways.

2. You are spending more time alone, and enjoying it. This is a time of quiet introspection or just a time of doing nothing. You prefer an evening reading or simply sitting on the back porch, over just about anything else. Watering your flowers has found new satisfaction. You prefer the small and simple pleasures.

3. Because you are observing your friends and life quite differently now, you may also experience the feelings of sadness or loneliness. It is as if you know you are graduating from high school and going off to attend a college far away. The emotions you experience now are a bit confusing because they don’t seem based on reality. Your friends are still there, you are still employed, the town looks (to your physical eyes) just as it always did, yet there is something different, something “other worldly,” and you know you are no longer relating to it as you once did. Do you remember a time you gave notice at your job and knew you would be there an additional two weeks? You felt a separateness and sadness, yet excited and anticipatory. You knew you would soon move on.

4. Work isn’t exciting anymore. Work and career may be successful, but the passion is gone. You know another opportunity is drawing close. It is just within arm’s reach, but unseen. It may feel as though it will rock your world and, although this excites you, there is a slight edge of apprehension. And you know there is nothing you can DO about it anyway, until IT reveals itself.

5. Food doesn’t appeal to you as it used to. Perhaps you find yourself simply not eating until late in the day or eating less quantity. You may or may not lose weight as this happens. The type of food that you are now attracted to is quite different than it used to be.

6. Your body feels unusual. Perhaps it is as though your body has changed sizes, although your clothes still fit. Perhaps you feel taller.

7. Your sexual appetite has changed. Usually subsided. This may or may not concern you, but when you really evaluate it, you enjoy this shift.

8. Your vision may be slightly different. Colors may be brighter. The greens of grass and leaves begin to appear brighter, more yellow and vibrant. You may also experience an eyeglass prescription change.

9. Your sleep pattern changes. You may become unusually restless at night or have unusual dreams or want to sleep during the day. You may find yourself staying up late at night, or getting up very early. Or both. You may need less sleep.
You haven’t entered the Twilight Zone. You are simply moving to a place that includes more of you and less of the noise that isn’t you. Congratulations. We call this time between worlds a “Growth Period.” It is a time to celebrate. Your body and mind and emotions may, however, not agree. Even though a Growth Period is a time to congratulate yourself on your spiritual progress, sometimes when we enter this phase of growth, it hits our physical system as something uncomfortable.
Keep remembering that All is well, You are loved, and You are never alone.

Selfishly Seek Joy

From Story Waters, Thought for the Day, 6th January 2010:
Do not fear that there is something selfish in seeking your joy because you see suffering in the world around you. Realize that the ending of suffering comes from the living of joy. As you come to live in joy so you will radiate that joy and, in doing so, aid others in finding their own. Your joy will connect you with the world and all beings in it. Be joyful without shame or restriction.

Abraham on Rest and Resistance

From an Abraham workshop in August of 1997:
In the non-physical, you are not waiting for something to be over so you that can rest, because there is no resistance in the work to begin with.

What you want rest from is resistance. What you want relief from is resistance. When your aircraft is off the ground and soaring, you’ll never want to land again. You’ll never want to stop and rest. You’ll never want to stop. You’ll never say, "I want to stop and have more time so that I don’t have to do anything." You’ll say, "Now I’m soaring. Where will I go now? What will please me now? What will I look at now? What will thrill me now? What will I uplift now? How will I utilize this eternal energy now?"

It is not relief from action or from work that you seek. It is relief from resistance. And as you play this game of lining up your energy, we don’t think we’ll hear from you things like "I want more time." We think instead we’ll hear things more like "I’d like more ideas to which I can flow my energy. I want to find those things of passion that call me."

So the first order of business is to hook up with the energy stream. And you do that just by practicing. "How does this feel? How does this feel? How does this feel?" Think and feel. Think and feel. Think and feel.

If you were in your car and a friend had given you a box of musical tapes and you were going to drive a few hundred miles, and your friend had a variety of taste in music and you popped a tape in that wasn’t your style, wouldn’t you just pop it right back out and reach for another one?

Well, that’s the way we want you to deal with your thoughts. We want you to pop in a tape and feel how it feels. And if it doesn’t feel good, pop it out and pop in another one—until you have developed a personality or an attitude that is in vibrational harmony with well-being.

Disconnect

Jennifer Hoffman of Uriel Heals, in her countdown to 2010, shares with us this powerful message:
Disconnect

Hidden within our energetic being are multitudes of cords that connect us to emotions, beliefs, thoughts, experiences and people. Everything you encounter in your life has an energetic connection to you. The cords that are based in fear siphon energy away from you. The ones that are grounded in love return energy to you. Fear-based cords are activated when it is time to disconnect and release them. This is a choice point for an important decision, do you return the emotion in kind or do you disconnect from it?

Each person who pushes your buttons is activating a cord you share with them. Instead of responding to them with your own fear, connect to your inner guidance and ask what cord is being activated and the lesson it corresponds to.Then set a conscious intention to disconnect the cord from that person, to send them unconditional love and see them in their perfection. As you disconnect from this energetic level, you allow the possibility for a connection at a higher vibration.

For today, practice disconnecting from every energy you do not want to be part of your life in 2010. Send love and light to the cords that bind you to fear and release them to complete those lessons. Set an intention for relationships and experiences that honor, enlighten, fulfill, respect and shower you with love.
Picture yourself as a character from the movie The Matrix, where you are physically attached to things with chords, cables, or tubes. Things like mass consciousness, other people in your life, your own history, your own beliefs, and your own habits.

Imagine yourself un-plugging yourself from these tubes or chords, one by one, gently, with honor and appreciation for what you have experienced through that connection. Do not judge the connection, simply appreciate it. As you detach each one being disconnected from its source, feel the freedom that you have just given yourself to be a different You than you have ever known before. Feel the immense power that emanates from within you, a power that you may never have felt before, may never have realized was there, because it was being siphoned off to these other places.

As you do this, avoid finding blame for either yourself or what you've become attached to. These are all energetic attachments, and they were very necessary in the life that we've been living, for the experiences that we wanted to have. But that time is gone. We're moving into a new way of being. It's time now, as Jennifer reminds us, to disconnect—to get back to the freedom of Who We Really Are, unattached to the patterns from our past that haven't served us so well. There's enormous personal, global, and universal freedom in that!

Another Perspective

Everything changes when we stand back and view our lives, our experiences, our circumstances from a different perspective. As we enter the amazing new world of 2010, enjoy this shift in perspective from singer/songwriter Julie Gold.
From A Distance

by Julie Gold

From a distance, the world looks blue and green,
And the snow-capped mountains white.
From a distance, the ocean meets the stream,
And the eagle takes to flight.

From a distance, there is harmony,
And it echos through the land.
It's the voice of hope, it's the voice of peace,
It's the voice of every man.

From a distance, we all have enough,
And no one is in need.
There are no guns, no bombs, no disease,
No hungry mouths to feed.

From a distance, we are instruments,
Marching in a common band;
Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace,
They're the songs of every man.

God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us from a distance.

From a distance, you look like my friend,
Even though we are at war.
From a distance I just can't comprehend,
What all this fighting is for.

From a distance, there is harmony,
And it echos through the land.
It's the hope of hopes, it's the love of loves,
It's the heart of every man.
It's the hope of hopes, it's the love of loves,
This is the song of every man.
